  2. Listen to the bookseller talk at the end…he is not talking about selling books…he spouts the usual ..key words to get people excited… Freedom ,Democracy,Human…Rights ..etc…he is ..an activist …he draws attention from governments

All you people who sympathize with Hong Kong and Taiwan and get so negative about China and their move to absorb them… study the history well…then you will get it…Taiwan nationalists lost the War with Mao and ran off to Taiwan with all the National Treasure-and Art…then claimed to be China..who was on the Island when they got there..? they just absorbed the local population?..had a lot of US help in the beginning …Now China is the Big dog…he wants his Bone back….such is life but we do love to get all excited from our Armchairs in the West with our high Ideals about Freedom and Democracy…deciding in a micro second who is wrong and who is right.

He should not go back… he may be partially responsible for these Riots and the Youth hatred of Beijing…. people need to not see this man as just a poor Book Seller… he may have ties to foreign agencies like the CIA….Singapore just does not allow specific literature or news media to be available … because they had previous bloody Riots over simple reckless references to race or religion…Play innocent if you please Jack but if you were smart you would not sell books critical to China and help get the young people of Hong Kong stirred up and negative toward the Landlord. HK belongs to the mainland you Idiot!

  14. The video shows the Chinese gov doesn't have much control of publication in Hong Kong otherwise they wouldn't have to persuade a Hong Kongness guy to keep a list of his costumers who would like to buy books Chinese gov doesn't like.

  15. Of course I agree these things are unfortunate and unethical but tbh I think most countries have their fair share of bad deeds. US is not much better if you look at the facts. It's just that biased world media leads us to believe democratic societies are the best and others are evil. The West emphasizes how their actions are good while China's are bad even when the deeds are similar in nature. The winners are the ones who wrote the history books afterall. I'm not saying I support any country but I think it's better to look at the whole picture with all the facts and keep an open mind instead of taking sides when most of you barely have any knowledge of politics.

Look at all the protesters that are still in jail at the moment, many of them are just kids.     Agreement was for HongKong’s Freedom of Speech, Press, etc. On chinese system where CCP competitions disappear or get arrested.

  35. China legit don’t care if they have to kill everyone in HK or Taiwan to get it if it wasn’t for the fact the whole world is watching. If the civilians dead they just replaced them with their already excessive population. But better be freed for days and dies standing than slave and dies in bed full of regret at old age.

As a Hong Konger who has lived in China for a long time, I appreciate how the Communist Party puts a focus on social change, lifting millions of people out of poverty to become today’s second largest economy and tech innovator within 30 years. These policies do work. These bias literature from the bookseller getting into China may cause society instability and hindering more people from a society that is continuing to grow and proper. For your rights to freedom of expression, Chinese people have their rights to a stable home. People do not feel restrained, instead are very optimistic about the future under the Communist Party rule.
