  1. This has gone way beyond protest! It's rioting that is borderline "terrorism" setting people on fire. I'm afraid to say that civil war is now inevitable in Hong Kong. And China will crush them, which will intern lead to conflict with the west.

  10. I understand protestors are frustrated, angry. Police are beating on civilians, even old innocent people. All of those aren't being covered by news.
    BUT, no matter what, they shouldn't mess with HK airport. People aren't going to want to travel to HK.
    One of HK's biggest industry is tourism. Without tourism, HK would be done.
    There are other ways to protest, without trashing their own neighborhoods. They have put local restaurants, mom & pop shops, all out of business. The smaller cafes and restaurants have been shut down; owner can't pay the workers. These workers are probably these young protesters parents!
    Taxi drivers have not been able to make a living.
    Who are they hurting in the end??

  15. Nothing is more valuable than independence and freedom. Fighting for independence and freedom is the right thing to do. When it comes to fighting for independence and freedom, there's no such thing that is late or too late. Sometimes it takes decades or even a century to attain independence and freedom.

  16. 香港这些人这样破坏公共交通设施绝对是暴徒行为，在全世界任何地方都会被当地警察镇压下去的。香港警察应该加强执法，香港法官也不应该警察抓了暴徒然后到法官那里就放人，法官也应该坚决打击破坏公共设施那样的暴徒，否则谁还敢去香港做生意或者旅行！

  22. Why are these idiot protesters blocking their means of escape? Some can fly to Taiwan to escape this madness. These "protesters" maybe undercover police that are blocking all transportation facilities to prevent the real protesters from escaping. The real protesters should warn everyone to not block access to transportation facilities or they will be attacked.

  27. Come on, it has been happening for 2 months, it is the FIRST time I saw sky news reported a bit of truth.

    I was wondering where the actual missing news went. How about a bunch of rioters harrassed 70 years old man in Hongkong airport? How about hundreds of men beat up a Chinese reporter brutally and tied his hands and legs up? How about the rioters set fire on the streets? How about the rioters went government building and smashed everything up? How about hundreds of rioters smashed police cars, and then chased after 3/4 members of policemen and beat them up? How about a policemen's finger was bitten off by a rioter? How about the rioters threatened govners and police, then CUT OFF a policeman's 4 fingers while he was off duty? How about……..
