  1. Adjusted the support score a bit due to some toxicity I've observed from the company on various social platforms (the discord is strangely not moderated by employees, and the mods just ban people they just don't like, and won't ban obvious toxic trolls…), and Twitter can be overly snarky to a fault IMO. New score is 3.75, behind ExpressVPN.

  2. I personally use two VPN's Windscribes $2 plan and private VPN and in terms of speed and streaming reliability Private VPN takes the cake.
    I noticed that private VPN doesn't keep a stable monthly plan and don't automatically take money out of your account the moment your subscription is up so that is either a plus or minus to me it's a minus (kinda)
    I got the Black Friday $5 dollar deal and thought i was going to be grandfathered in to said deal like how other VPN's are.
    but realized that my subscription was expired so i was forced to pay $7 to renew my subscription for another month.
    So I suggest if you want to use private VPN I suggest the 3 month plan for $15 instead if you decide to stick with them.

  4. Winscribe is being very reluctant (and slow) to issue a refund even though it was requested within 2 days.
    This VPN is a tier 3 at best with slow speeds, no chat, and poor support.

    I'm dissappointed and disagree with your review Tom, to the point that I have to wonder if you're on the affiliate dole now too 🙁

  5. The pick-a-plan option looks to be super economical for those in the US or Canada. For example, you can buy access to all US (or Canadian) servers with unlimited data for just 2 bucks a month!

  8. After security, I think that speed is a key factor with VPN selection. I appreciate that if you spend your day trying different servers you may better this – however if you do streaming you kinda need to use WINFLIX and the speeds are atrocious! The chat is just a bot and you have knocked countless VPNs for not having or responding to a live chat in the past? Don't know how this VPN rates better than some others than are just as secure with much better speeds than Windscribe.

  11. When I look for a VPN I always look for the number of locations and the privacy policy. The price does not matter. I like Windscribe alot. It has a ton of locations. But my number 1 VPN for me is Surfshark. Currently been using Surfshark for 3 months and no problems at all. The benefits of these two VPNs is that they have unlimited devices.
