  1. The problem with using a VPN to hide from the gov itself. How do you know the gov doesn't own the VPN? If I was the NSA I would try to make the best VPN in the world, then just collect everything.
    And to be honest, the VPN out can be track. That and stuff like Russia requires VPN services to hand over any data when asked.

    I think the best reason to use a VPN is if your ISP is slowing the connection down and it will speed it up. That or security on a public network.

    BTW my background is in network and obviously tech. I never heard of IVPN. I personally use PIA. However, the guy is right when he says trust is key.

  2. You do NOT need a VPN for ANYTHING.
    Security? REALLY!?
    Security comes from INSIDE, not from anybody ELSE.

    Hiding? From what or whom??
    I'm the most private person but AGAIN, you do NOT rely on any external party for what you can do in house.

    My 'wild' guess is that soooomebody wants to sell soooomething. Next.
