Synology RT1900ac评论:
http://lon.tv/v9ezb

Synology Cloud Sync

  2. I love this router. But…I'm told by Synology that the ONLY wifi extender that can be connected to the router is their own 2200ac. Any luck connecting an extender to this router?

  3. Any particular reason why you turned off 5GHz in Wireless settings? At 10:53 of this video, you can see that Smart Connect was turned off and 5GHz was also disabled. Just curious why you would do that…

  4. Thanks Lon, you convinced me to buy this router and seem to be the only one to go over VPN options and mobile app! What I was looking for 🙂

  5. Just got mine. Does anybody have issues with vpn slow down? Testing a wired connection I get around 230-250mbps but when I turn on my pia vpn on my desktop it drops to 50-60mbps. My old netgear router gives me full speed or give or take 10mbps.. with netgear router with vpn on it'll give me that 200mbps mark but this synology router drops it to that 50-60mbps range. Tried my shield and it is worse. VPN turned off I get full 230-250mpbs but turned on it crawls between 1-20mbps. yes, I checked different vpn locations/servers….

  6. So Lon do you have your NAS hooked up to a switch???… I'm trying to figure out if I get an NAS storage unit.. what type of router I should have and how I should hook it up

  7. With this router, will a 3.0 USB drive have the capability to back up multiple macs on time machine? I want to replace my time capsule before it kicks out on me.

  8. Hi Lon. Recently switched to the 2600 from Airport Extreme. I love it but was surprised to see the Intrusion detection is a Beta app and looks different from the one you demonstrated.

  9. Lon, how much of the memory do you utilise? Given some of us will configure as much as you just did in the video, this will provide a good indicator.

  10. Hey Lon, I tried to purchase the Synology RT2600AC refurbished from Newegg, but when I got it, it would take up to 10 minutes to come online. How long did it take for yours to boot? I sent it back to get a replacement, but they did not have anymore in stock so I was just given a refund. Is it worth my time to find another and repurchase it?

  11. Great review. Just order one. Here's a unique application which I'm wondering if it will work. I have a Synology NAS single bay. I was looking for RAID configuration for the following reason. I have a detached garage with Ethernet. I'd like to have a copy of the HDD in the garage as well as a copy in the house. Reason being is in case of theft or fire, i have a unaffected copy in the alternate location. I'm hoping to attach a USB HDD to the Synology router for the 2nd HDD. Any comments??
