  4. here's a conspiracy theory. The best way for governments to get "bad people" to share their info with them, is making them believe they are safe. If I was director of the CIA, what I would do is set up a VPN service, then let the government attack it and claim the content on that server can't be breached. Just spread the word and let the "bad people" join (it is proven to be safe after all). Then you just start tapping every bit of info coming in and we've made the country safer (or something like that). And of course I would make it a paid VPN, so criminals would say "if we pay for it, it must be for real". I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking this shit is real. TOR was created by the US military, for God's sake. They started the "anonymous surfing", it would be silly to think they dug their own graves. They practically handed the criminals a way to do things behind their back. No way that wasn't a set-up. So no VPN for me, I'll just live by the rules and do the things they want you to do: eat, sleep, go to work, repeat till you drop dead (preferably before you retire, so you don't cost them money!

  5. Open vpn expressvpn connection on Ubuntu shows Dns leaks. Online solutions I found didn't fix the issue. Using ExpressVPN software doesn't leak, so looking like OpenVPN & Ubuntu don't play nice

  7. Great video sharing! Express VPN is really excellent. I think FlyVPN is also very good. It has no log upload and it can be used for free for 14 days for newly registered mobile phone users, and there are servers in many countries. Very fast, privacy is also very secure, what do you think?

  17. If you want a reliable, fast and somewhat cheap VPN that can also work in China, try AirVPN or 12VPN. I have been using them and they work like a charm.

  29. All VPNs will eventually be sabotaged in effort to demonize them and call them unsafe, so they can be banned and all big tech can then easily track everything you do or say. Truth is, NordVPN's handling of the situation at hand was a result of being lazy, being arrogant, and too confident while being so rich you don't need to care anymore, not just bad handling by a third party company and loss of a encryption key used by probably billions of users for many many months. I tend to use multiple VPNs and change them often, and I tend to not subscribe for long periods, rather shorter, so i get new encryption keys more often in case of a breach. 🙂

  32. I have been with PIA for several years and this is very upsetting. I will be switching providers. I am in the public often and prefer the safety of a VPN. I am also upset that this was not sent to current customers so a determination could be made by each.
