I had PIA for 2 years so far, I even recommended it to someone last year, but as I had a good experience with, only occasional slowdowns, etc, and as I don't stream the flagging of IPs wasn't that big of an issue, but as my subscription is coming to the end around 77 days left, I started to look for better option. (The person I recommended it to did not use VPN before and worry about government spying isn't an issue as he practically works for it, but I did it just to protect him from spoofing and hackers when he is traveling). As for me I definitely try to find VPN that does not give any agency any info (or gives at only extreme scenarios), because they don't log etc, I definitely put your recommended TorGuard as my option.

  3. I got a 1yr subscription to PIA nearly a year ago. With many fixable issues that were never fixed, I decided not to renew. Bums me out because I really liked not having to use CLI for VPN. I suck at it. 🙂

  5. Hey Tom, im considering getting IVPN. I looked at the review of them you did a few months back. It was a great review but it may interest you to know they have cut their monthly price plan by a third. Perhaps you can update them on your VPN tier list.

  6. I'm ready to switch providers but would like just a browser extention with the ability to have it be bypassed for certain sites for those sites that really go all out on VPN providers. Most provides only had a turn on and off with better circuvention sucess than PIA but I would always run into a site that blocked the provider. Thanks to you I may be switching to TorGuard after looking at what they offer and your code to help bring the price down. PIA has really gone down hill since it's launch. I even remeber signing up for either a year or two and never was offered to enter my promo and was not given a credit when I spoke to Customer Service.

  7. I disabled my PIA renewal for this year. Really unfortunate considering they had a really great value service ($50 for 2 years using an LTT code). I guess it's time to find another vpn.
