  1. Me: Oh it would be fun to try out a new browser
Me after 2 seconds of consideration: I have already optimized chrome for my workflow, wrote extensions to accomplish tasks, synced it with my phone, enabled DoH…. Yah Im too lazy to switch

  2. Opera's speed-dial is THE feature to have.
But all other browsers don't do that, dunno why. If it don't have customization speed-dial then I won't use it. The only other browser with fully customization speed-dial is Maxthon, but it is slightly less convenient than Opera because you can't pin a page DIRECTLY onto a speed-dial while browsing the page. Instead you gotta add it while on a new tab page by hitting the [+] tile. That is one QOL thing that I hope they improve in the future.
I don't like bookmark bar / list. It just isn't as interesting as pinning TILES on speed-dial with preview for far easier management and easy to reach.

  3. wrong, the first IE problems was that it had so many holes in the browser that people was terrified to use it. It had NOTHING to do with Netscape browser.
IE had so many holes that it was extremely easy for hackers to hack into someone system right through the browser itself, the IE browser had no security whatsoever.
even when you placed the security level higher in its settings from Normal to Hard and Maximum it did absolutely nothing. it gave a false sense of security & even security agencies said dont use it.
No not mention that it was easy to pass its little so called security with trojans and hacks that people were terrified of the browser.

Sorry to say, but microsoft edge browser has telemetry built within its browser. so your security & privacy just went out the window.

If you want a good secured browser, DuckDuckGo and Tor Browser are the current best browsers to have for the ultimate security and privacy protection.
Anything that has to do with chrome/chromium, google has back doors to get all of the analytics and telemetry they want to call back home to google.
Google used to be the "Do no evil" company…. Now these days, its ALL about being Evil….. its like trusting facebook with your banking.
Opera has memory leak problems that they dont want to fix or choose to ignore and its owned by a Chinese company.
Firefox is the next step after DuckDuckGo and Tor browsers.

Extra Note since it wasnt mentioned: — Dont use anything thats related to Yandex either browser or email or anything else. Its owned by Russian company and its full of major spyware.

  4. Google is the largest corporation in the world, so yeah let's use some others products… Btw firefox sucks. It doesn't even support scroll Carl!

  5. Thanks, Mate. I actually tried the brave browser and it looks like its pretty fast. I believe google has stopped innovating.

  6. ? There is only one alternative there and that is Firefox. All the rest are Google Chromium. Brave is so brave that they are riding on the back of Google.
