Sorry. Elton & Bernie are legends but no way this was the best original song of the year. Just my opinion. Much better songs not nominated & of those that were, the Cynthia Erivo song deserved the Oscar – IMO. This seemed to be an award given to honor Elton & Bernie vs because the best song.

This is far from Elton's best song but the award recognition kind of makes up for the fact that Elton should have had about 20 grammys for his amazing career vs the 5 that he actually has.
