I personally believe that a DLC character should not be judged PURELY by its representation but by the fun factor that said character has. In Byleth's defence, a unique gimmick is not always necessary (but much appreciated anyway) to make a character fun. Sure, he/she doesn't stand out from the rest. But out of all the characters, Byleth has some of the most unique moves across the entire Smash roster. The diversity here is key. If a character doesn't feel or look fun to play, why bother? Thankfully, the DLC has offered us a very varied cast of characters from beloved games with distinguished movesets that stand out from the rest. It's okay to be disappointed if your character isn't represented (at least for now) But what we have here is something worthwhile to keep you occupied. That's a good deal if you ask me.

omg they finally revealed the first 5 dlc characters
I hope this time it’s ragna the bloodege, Jin kazama, crash bandicoot, ruby rose, dante or noctis, Jak and daxter and Travis touchdown
This Fighters Pass has:
– Introduced me to two new series I never heard of before this DLC (Persona and Fatal Fury),
– Brought back two of my old favorite series I almost forgot about (Dragon Quest and Banjo-Kazooie),
– And finally, has a character from one of my favorite Switch games (Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses).
So, this was a pretty good first Fighters Pass. Can't wait for volume 2.
Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with this Fighters Pass. Can’t wait for Vol 2
As long as Crash is one of the 6 remaining characters, I'll be happy.
