The fact that MARTIN SCORSESE has only won a single Oscar for BEST DIRECTOR is disgusting, this man is one of the greatest directors of all time period and he deserves a second Oscar at least
I really wanted Thomas Newman to FINALLY get an Oscar for his (always) exceptional work. I was disappointed that he lost. Joker had a good soundtrack, but they gave it to her because she's a woman. Period. If it were up to the Academy, all the winners would be women! Leo won his oscar after being nominated seven times, and they decided it was finally his time, although I thought his previous nominations were more deserving despite being good in The Revenant. They really should have done that for Newman. He is truly the most underrated and underappreciated composer of all time.

Can someone explain to me why Bombshell deserves best makeup? Maybe I just don’t get it but I don’t think it was anything extraordinary. It’s makeup that most women do every morning.
Scarlett should have won it for Jojo. Its disastrous to see a new actress' phenomenonal performance being overlooked for a legacy actress' good performance. Just give her a honorary oscar in 5 year time if you wanted to recognise her. Dern was the third best in the list after Scarlett and Florence, but still won.
Holy s**t what culture, little women doesn’t hold a candle against jojo rabbit for its adaptation of the source material. Honestly go and read a book, then learn the definition of “adapted.”
