  4. Going with Parasite in Picture, Screenplay, and Editing for a few reasons. First of all, I think Once Upon a Time in Hollywood's steam has died down a lot. The first sign of that for me was when it missed the Editing nomination, then it lost SAG despite it literally being about actors and having everyone in Hollywood in it. The icing on the cake was losing to Parasite, a movie from South Korea where not that many people recognize the actors. I don't begrudge you for predicting Hollywood in Screenplay and it could still happen, but I'm just not predicting it for that reason. Second, I'm still not entirely sure that 1917 can actually win without acting support. I'm not saying it can't, I just don't know if it will. Even movies that got completely shut out of acting categories that won Best Picture (Slumdog Millionaire, Return of the King, etc) had a SAG Ensemble win. And even Braveheart (completely shut out at SAG) had Mel Gibson attached to it. It also says a lot to me that BAFTA, the BRITISH Academy, did not nominate any BRITISH actors in a BRITISH film at a BRITISH award show. Again, I don't begrudge you for predicting 1917, I even think it makes a lot of sense even though I'm not predicting it. I just have my doubts about it actually happening. As far as Editing goes, AMPAS just doesn't like car movies or racing movies whereas BAFTA does. I get that it's nominated for Best Picture, but I don't think it'll actually happen unless every nominee gets at least one Oscar, and I think that Ford v Ferrari and The Irishman (unfortunately) will fall victim to that this year (predicting 1917 in VFX). I agree with every other one of your picks, though and I hope you do well in your Oscar pool.
