    Another day, another source claiming the PS5 is still outperforming the Xbox Series X, but this time they express that the consoles are so close to each other that the games are what will make the big difference in the end. I think that is a pretty safe bet regardless of which console has the edge. Also let me know your thoughts on Microsoft apparently trying at one point in time trying to buy platinum games.

  4. There is really no basis so far that the PS5 is more powerful than the Series X , all indications seem to say the opposite . As for wether the power difference between the 2 consoles will make a difference that will largely depend on how big the difference is . Certainly if the difference is 9.2 vs 12 teraflops I'd say that is big enough to make a difference you can notice .

  5. What does better running games mean??? If PissyS5 games are1440p with fewer assets and details. Wow weeee PissyS5 games are running better. Look at the difference between Hellblade 2 and Godfall. Gee Whiz Godfall is running better???I'll take games looking like Hellblade 2 over better running Godfall???

  7. ps5 wont out perform series x…. Im pretty much certain of that and sony know it…. thats why theyre hanging back to see if they have the advantage on price.
    Also, dev kits are absolutely not going to be the final retail specs of either machine

  8. Sony has internal struggles and has been going down hill since the new CEO. To make matters worse, Shawn Layden left Sony Interactive Entertainment AND PlayStation refuses to comment on the situation, so it’s clear there’s trouble!

  10. You know if Platinum finishes Scale Bound for Next gen Console's, you do know they need to remake everything from a graphical stand point. But would be dope to see what they come up with doing.

"ps5 is still outperforming XSX"… This is why I only come here to have a good laugh! 😀 It is actually a bad thing when you don't have any real, interesting content to skyrocket your income with and you should generate something clickable quickly. XSX will have more horsepower than ps5, everyone knows that by now. And this is the exact reason why sony is waiting for MS's announcemet so that they can calculate pricing.

  19. I think most of your opinions is wishful thinking. I can pretty much guarantee you the series X will have a significant performance advantage over the PS5. Especially GPU. With improved visuals and frame rate that indeed gamers WILL notice. Once again expect the Xbox to be the best place to play multiplat, which every year makes up for the majority of the top 10 games of the year.

  29. We all know why MS is rushing into next generation, but want I can't understand is why so many people that want Sony to announce something just because MS showed the xseries. If I'm being honest nothing has me more hyped for this year other than the great games that will release TLOUS2, GOT and Cyber Punk 2077 have me more hyped than the launch of new hardware even if I am going to buy a PS5 day one. People need to chill Sony will announce the PS5 when they are ready.

  31. Having less power and getting better performance for Ps5 compare to XB Series X doesn’t make any sense. Perhaps Xbox will work on the console to optimize it for the final product. And no I’m not an xbox fan, i love both companies. I have a ps4 pro and a pc to play Microsoft exclusive games, and Gamepass PC games.

Once I heard not a graphical leap I knew this was just a rumor and not true, look at pc and its graphics there is a big difference between the xbox and playstation running a 11 year old CPU compared to pc. The graphics will be insane on the next gen. It seems everyone has contacts in Microsoft and Sony both say they will put perform the other… we will wait and see who's credentials are solid and who are fan boys

  33. Funny how Xbox channels like Dealer and Colteastwood say the Series X will be more powerful but Playstation guys say the PS5 is more powerful. In the end I think what you're saying will be true and both consoles will be similar in power and it will come down to the games. Either way I'm excited to see what both Xbox and Playstation do next generation.

  38. I have all the consoles. Microsoft will not let the next playstation take the title of most powerful console. They need that to keep their player base. Ps4 out preformed xbox on exclusives this gen but xbox has alot more studios now which will mean alot more console exclusive games for next gen. I'm getting both consoles this year because I want to play god of war 2, horizon 2, hellblade 2, outer worlds 2

  42. "But games matter"—LMAO WTF does Xbox have for exclusives? Halo, Gears, and Tomb Raider….PS has had Horizon ZD, Bloodborne, The Last of Us, Uncharted, Detroit, God of War, R&C, TLOU2 this yr, Persona5, The Last Guardian, Spiderman, Infamous, and Nino Kuni. If anything Xbox needs to step it up with games, hell AAA titles have been stale since GTAV.

  44. Sony is quite because they have the less powerful product. Why you think Microsoft is being so outspoken about theirs? Because they know they have the edge. But i still will most likely get the ps5 because I already have ps4 unless the difference in power and visuals is substantial
