What are some of the biggest snubs the Oscars have done over the years? For me, I still think Roger Deakins should have won Best Cinematography in 2008.
I found klaus to be better than toy story 4
Honestly I wouldn't nominate Brad Pitt. It was a fun role, but what about it was really Oscar worthy? He's the same one note cool guy throughout the entire film. Pesci played a more nuanced role in The Irishman but he played it incredibly well. He was dangerous, flawed, but also sentimental to his friend for what he was going through. I would have dropped Anthony Hopkins because I feel he did nothing spectacular in that film, but was nominated for his name alone
uncut gems adam sandler best movie&actor 2019
Adam Sandler does not have respectability among actors that's why he got snubbed and who can blame them, he's been making crappy movies just so he can go on vacation for decades.
Academy doesn’t care for comedians.. Jim Carrey literally won 2 golden globes in a row and wasn’t even nominated either time for the oscars
Sandler should have won Best Actor
I hope Joker wins and in the speech they throw shade at Leto's version…. when it fades to commercial and comes back, they are still on stage throwing shade at Leto's version.
Only thing that scares me out of Joker winning is the fact that WB tends to steer their productions to what is hot over having a plan…. and they took notice to Joker. Plus they hired J.J. who has driven every franchise he got a hold of straight into the ground.

I honestly hate that Uncut Gems didn't win something, because now we'll have to put up with Annoying Stereotype Adam Sandler.
Also, thank God Missing Link won something over Disney.
Throw out Tarrantino and his silly farcical portrayal of Hollywood … anything else is better than that boring over scripted rubbish.
To me awkwafina doesn't sound black, I never heard her rap and frankly don't care to, but just hearing her talk, she sounds like someone's Jewish aunt
Korey: "Aye! Watch how you say that…" Bruhh, had me dyin lol
Once upon a time in Hollywood was trash. Harriet was trash also. The lighthouse was not my cup of tea but I did stay with and I do agree that Willem Dafoe got robbed.
I guess I just wanted Adam Sandler to be (at least) nominated, because not only was it a great performance, but he is a down-to-earth guy who has been on a long streak of bad movies (Murder Mystery, The Ridiculous 6). Also because he has proven to be a great actor, and would have thought it would be fitting to see Adam Sandler (who proved himself once again), to be at the Academy Awards like "Who's laughing now?".
Joker was one of my favorite movies for the year, but 11 noms is super overkill when there are things like The Lighthouse or even Avengers Endgame that aren't being noticed. Endgame should have gotten something, even if it just honors the whole MCU body of work, like Return of the King did for LOTR.
Joaquin Phoenix has big competition with Adam Driver don't think he can just walk in and take it.
Academy Awards: you're not worthy of an oscar nomination Adam Sandler
Adam Sandler: I disagree, I disagree Academy Awards
I don't know why Corey said " I don't want to be called a uncle tom" Most Blacks folks have made it known they thought Harriet was a bad film, that disrespected the hero & icon.
If Once Upon A Time in Hollywood wins best picture, I've lost complete faith in hollywood itself. I think most people in this comment section could write a more cohesive film than this one. Tarantino is just a critic's darling (solely because of his first 3 movies), I don't believe he deserves all this praise, especially when the head of sony said it was the best script he read in 30 years.. yikes..
The biggest snubs I could think of at the moment would be for Best Score. Joker and Desplat are each great, but what about Alan Silvestri, John Powell, Michael Giacchino, Michael Abels, and Bear Mccreary???
Pesci's performance was understated but I think it was on par with pacino
