I came back to your video to prove that you're wrong
If parasite win i will be so upset I’m rooting for 1917
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood FTW
I think 1917 defenders deserves it
Yooo I hear that Sinnoh music. Hell yeah
MY WINNER BEST PICTURE IS 1917
Mario – Really good analysis. I think it's going to be between 1917 and Hollywood, with 1917 in the slight lead due to the PGA win. Before the preferential ballot system, the DGA was the most important predictor. But since moving toward a preferential ballot system, the PGA has been much more relevant. Parasite suffers from being foreign film or now "international film". I say this for two reasons: (1) Subtitled films are harder to sell to people. (2) Oscar voters just might move Parasite down their list a little more, because they will be voting for it in the international film category.
Here's what I would add to your commentary. The majority of BP winners take directing, writing, acting, or a combination of them. You would have to go all the way down to 1941's Rebecca for the last time a film won Best Picture without winning acting, directing or writing Oscars. Also, the only films to win Best Picture without winning writing or directing, was Chicago and Gladiator. Both won acting awards. At the moment, 1917 is favored to win Best Director and Hollywood is favored to win Supporting Actor and Original Screenplay.
Parasite should win
Parasite winning would be a miracle.
I have a feeling that no matter who wins, people will be upset. I just hope the Tarantino movie doesn't make it, fell asleep throughout it. xD
The Irishman was my favorite film of the year so I kinda want that to win
Awesome video man. I would honestly be happy with any of these movies winning.
1917 better not win.I really want Hollywood or Parasite to win
