  4. joker best picture for sur, it deserves it because of all the talk, and when you will remember in the future 2020 oscars, the movie you will have in ind will be joker, nor jojo rabbit or parasite

  6. I think Best Picture will go to either 1917, Once Upon A Time..In Hollywood, Joker or Parasite. But yeah Jojo Rabbit could steal it unexpectedly. I would love Little Women to win but it's not going to sadly.
    I definitely agree that the acting winners are pretty much on lock. I would say actor could go to Joaquin or Adam though but otherwise they're locked.
    I've heard lately that adapted screenplay could go to Jojo Rabbit but I really want it to go to Little Women.

    My main prediction is there will be a lot of fuckery this year. Most of my predictions are based off of that. Joker is more of a gut feeling given the 11 nominations and the Golden Lion win at Venice. The Academy won't give it to Bong Joon Ho sadly, especially after the DGA win by Sam Mendes.

  15. I completely agree! Parasite should win best picture but they’ll probably give it to 1917, and give Parasite best foreign (international), just like Roma last year… And I’m still sad that Midsommar got snubbed in sooo many categories

  16. I like this comparison of mixing and editing better. It’s a better analogy.

    Think of it as cooking.
    Editing – you pick out all the best ingredients individually and fine tune each one individually.
    Mixing – putting all the ingredients together into one product

  22. Either Parasite or 1917 are my picks to win Best Picture… Problem is neither of them has any acting noms. Films don't win Best Picture without acting noms… So, I'm excited to see what happens, but won't be surprised if I'm disappointed.
