2. I can't believe that Sophie Turner didn't get nominated for her performance as Jean Grey in Dark Phoenix. She did a lot of research on schizophrenia and addiction to play that role and was always prepared on set. Also, the Dark Phoenix soundtrack / score by Hans Zimmer is the best one I have heard in years. Disney now owning that property should be ashamed of themselves for not putting Dark Phoenix in the running.

9. The biggest snub by far was Zhao Shuzen . I also think there’s a very good argument to be made that Song Kang ho should have been nominated over al Pacino . The Farewell should have got one for original screenplay and Lupita nyongo should have been nominated

16. I'm only annoyed that Awkwafina and Tarun Edgerton didn't get nominated. I loved their movies. Rocketman was a a billion times better than that Oscar winning insult to Freddy Mercury's legacy, and the Farewell was brilliant movie. They both deserved better.

17. Nolan is the greatest director of 21st century & how many Oscar does he has ? Never seen him complaining , he makes movies for Audience , the film industry who will acknowledge each other despite loosing millions in order to make those Oscar-season movie's.

23. Jlo up for an Oscar was a joke I’m sorry. We really are putting her in league with actresses like Saorice Ronan, really? Jlo may have been in a lot of movies but she is an entertainer, not an actress. Nothing about her performance in Hustlers screamed Oscar worthy.
