1. 1917 was not nominated for Best Editing because of its messy editing. Sure it was made to look like one shot. But if you use that gimmick, better make sure you hide the cuts brilliantly. The first time I watched it I got easily distracted by the trickery and lack of fluidity. You can basically see where most of the cuts were made and sometimes the two frames look awkward with the transition. 1917, to me, is nothing more than a gimmick.

   Parasite is going to take this. The framing of the montage in the middle (the peach scene) was absolutely brilliant.

3. 3:30 I disagree: SW9 had a very good sound editing. However I think 1917 will win both sound categories.

4. I still think Beautiful Ghosts from Cats should've been nominated for best original song, not pulled from consideration like the rest of Cats (I liked Cats so maybe I'm biased).

6. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood deserve all of its nominations and it was definitely the best screenplay of this year in my opinion.

7. I gotta say, I'm rooting for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, cuz I can eat its scenes for breakfast lunch and dinner. In my opinion, some of the best scenes Tarantino's ever done. I haven't seen all the movies nominated for every category, so I don't know what I'd change specifically, but if there's anything I would add, it'd be Ad Astra for best OST.

   Also, when the FUCK are we gonna get best worst movie, no one takes this shit seriously anyways, get on it Hollywood

8. Can’t believe my favourite actress Florence Pugh is nominated I want her to win she deserves it!!! Also I can’t believe williem dafoe got snubbed for best supporting actor
