有传言称，iPhone 12将会配备4种不同的型号，分别是6.1英寸的iPhone 12和iPhone 12 Pro，这是6.7英寸的巨型iPhone 12 Pro Max，但让我最兴奋的是应该较小的iPhone 12 5.4英寸略小于iPhone 8的机身尺寸。

  3. I too am using SE and cant get over it with bigger size iPhone..the size, weight is just so comforting. Looking forward to the modern compact iPhone in 2020!

  5. I am excited for the new Iphone 12 in the smallest iteration, that will be my go to phone. I prefer light, powerful and compact gear. v/r

  7. I would love for Apple to make a new iPhone the same size as the iPhone 6,7,8 but just have an all screen display. I have an iPhone 8 now and I do not want to get a phone that's bigger than that because it just feels too big in my pocket and it's annoying

  12. I like the idea of the 5.4 inch except for the fact that it won’t have triple camera. That lack may mean I stay with my current 5.8 inch 11 Pro which I find a pretty good size, a nice compromise between readability and portability

  16. Currently using IPhone 8 and find it’s size just about right. If smaller Iphone 12 is for real I’ll seriously consider it. Otherwise IPhone 9 will be my upgrade.

  17. I would also really like a smaller iPhone. I bought the 11 last year after launch to replace my iPhone 6, but I ended up returning it because of the size. 5,4“ sounds like a great size!

  20. You think you want a 5 inch phone until you get it after owning larger phones. Why did you buy the max in the first place? Why didn’t you go for the regular Pro if you want smaller screen? I think you’re just anticipating the smaller phone because it’s something new.

  22. I want a small sized iPhone with an LCD display + modern iPhone X esque design language.

    Basically an iPhone XR shrunk down to the size of the iPhone 8. The width & height are more important than the thickness, it can be slightly thicker than the iPhone 6/6S/7 series to accommodate a larger battery that’ll be welcome.

    But I also prefer Touch ID to Face ID because I hate how the screen keeps getting activated everytime I’m holding the phone with a few other things in my hand, and then if I happen to look at the phone it gets unlocked even though I didn’t want to unlock it.

    It’s driven me up the wall, to the point where I’ve simply turned off Face ID & am back to punching in PIN like the good ol’ days. ?

    All things considered even though I love the newer design language I’ll probably switch to the SE2 when it launches.

    I’ve also recently begun to realise that I’m spending way too much time on my phone. All the time for everything. News, work, emails, entertainment, videos, Netflix, YouTube, even reading now! Add that with calling & texting…it’s like average 7-8 hours of screen on time daily. That’s 1/3rd of my entire life.

    That’s just…crazy. No other way to put it. It’s time to move to a smaller device & go back to the purpose of these devices. As communication tools, and as secondary work devices not primary.

  27. The important number for a smaller phone is the actual phone dimension — especially the width. Screen size is confounding, because of varying bezel sizes. I don't have to have a 4-inch screen. I just care about a small form factor. After that, the biggest screen that fits into that form factor is fine.

  31. i have oneplus 7, i hate how big it is , should have bought smaller phone , will use it for a year then maybe switch to iphone 12 if corona virus does not kill us all

  32. I’ve refused to switch from my iPhone 6. I like my wallet on the back of my phone.. (and i like having only 1 thing in my pocket) and I do not want anything bigger in my pocket.

    Oh, and neither myself not anyone else ever notices that I’m using the iPhone 6. Also note: I’ve (rapidly) typed all of this with my right thumb while while watching this on the phone, and holding it in my right hand.

  33. Good news, i will be happy to have a successor for my SE (a iphone powerful in a perfect and normal size for a phone,i dont need a mini tablet in my pocket), thanks for the news!!!

  35. If the rumor is true, I would actually switch from my iPhone 5S to this 5.4” screened iPhone, and my pocket will thank Apple. ???

  38. Put my wife down for a :::thinking real hard and getting it wrong::: iPhone 9 (though she's perfectly content with her iPhone 6), and put me down for an iPhone 12 to get a faster processor and 5G even though it'll likely not be readily available in what remains of my life time.

  40. I currently have an iPhone SE. If at least one iPhone 12 has a time-of-flight sensor, I will buy the smallest iPhone which will have it. Otherwise, I will buy the 5.4-inch model.

  42. I have a small SE and I have been anticipating the new version of the smaller phone with the metal edge for a long time! That 5.4 is perfect for me. One hand operation is nice. I don't need to carry a small ipad around….
