  3. Although briefly, I appreciate you talking about the lack of diversity. Honestly, I would love for you to elaborate more about it. Your voice especially is needed on the subject. If people of color are the only ones talking about it, we just sound like we're always complaining.

  7. Todd Phillips should win best director. He took the biggest risk of the decade and highly accomplished it. Every scene is visually beautiful and the visual story telling is stellar. Marriage story was outstanding and I think it should win best picture but best director should goes to Todd

  8. Did I watch the same movie as everyone else? I walked out of the theater on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. It was awful.

  9. This may be a bad thing to say but I think that besides brad Pitt once upon a time in Hollywood didn’t really earn the nominations it got. It’s more because of who is in it than the movie itself. But in all categories it’s taking nomination from more deserving movies.

  20. Todds nomination for director is very well deserved. Never in million years would I ever pick Todd a comedy director of hangover series to direct a dark joker origin movie. But he proved himself immensely. I dont think any director have given a most profitable movie ever. From 55million budget to earning billion. I sadly didnt enjoy OUATIH that much except the last 20min.. so Im a bit confused of Tarantinos nom.

    There seems to be many snubs but one of them is the Actor who plays Midges father on marvelous mrs Maisel.. there's no nomination for him but then again de Niro isn't nominated either. Jlo had many talks for hustlers but I am only one that thinks Jlo was good but nothing spectacular as many says. She wasn't bad but not great either.. I feel she plays very glam of herself in every movie.

    I'd really like joker to win best score and Joaquin as best actor. But surprised robert pattinson/willem dafoe has no nominations for lighthouse or any category for that matter

  21. I was really disappointed in the lack of nods for Honey Boy, as well as the lack of female directors in such a good year for them.
    Joker gives me a lot of mixed feelings.
    I'll wait to comment of the Netflix movies until I've seen them. This includes The Two Popes, a film nobody has seen.
    I'm super happy about Ana De Armas and Roman Griffin Davis' nominations.
    My hopes are pinned on Knives Out or Jojo Rabbit

  23. I predict between the GG's and the Oscars, Joker should get noticed…..but these award shows are known for their SHOCK value! Wonder where Endgame will fit into both as well???
