  2. Decent video but unfortunately the tech's hat got in the way of the camera way too much. Plus… the tech did not zoom in on or mention the tiny bracket on the right side of the speaker assembly, which is very important… if you do not get the tiny bracket installed correctly (or you bend it or lose it) the ear speaker will not function 🙁

  7. You removed adhesive. Why don’t u reapply adhesive? That means the new screen do not have the adhesive?

    Also did u use oem original parts or knock off part?

  8. Well, after doing this, I get the apple symbol up indefinitely. This stops when I disconnect the front sensor assembly. I fear I wrecked the cable or something there. Any suggestions?

  17. ? After replacing the screen, you need to calibrate the phone in order to ensure accurate touch accuracy. He fails to mention that.

  19. Where would I go to get this professionally done? I don’t think I could do all this lol. I dropped my x for the first time last night on the tile and the screen shattered. & how much

  32. I won’t order a new screen because every item description says LCD. I won’t order until I am 100% sure I’m getting the correct part, and not a single item on amazon has the correct description.

  36. Great video. I paid $70 total for the screen and tool kit online and this took me about a half hour. Face ID still works. The only thing I lost was auto-brightness, and honestly who cares right?

  39. When you change screens, don’t u need to calibrate the screen? Apparently new screen doesn’t work unless you use the IPhone Calibration app

  40. My face id stopped working without any sign of me damaging cable etc? I have repaired so many phones and this one just amazes me at how things stops working. Is there a fix? First it wasnt able to register my face, now it doesn't work at all.

  44. Doesn't cover the direction or placement of the little bracket /clip that rests under the middle screw on the earpiece speaker / proxy assembly..
