  1. The Lighthouse is getting snubbed for so much. It's getting deserved nominations for cinematography, but that's it! Not many nominations for Willem Dafoe who easily put in my favorite performance this year, the score got completely snubbed when it was a character in of itself, Eggers is also getting snubbed, Pattinson is missing his lead nomination of some kind and they built everything in the film, including the f**king lighthouse itself! And man, the script?! Beautiful! Authentic to how lightkeepers in that time period talked with some of the best monologues this year! Ugh!

  2. You make it sound as if race is the determining factor in almost every category. As if voters OWE it to non-whites. Totally contradicts what you said at the beginning of your video.

  3. Scarlett Johansson does not deserve a nomination for JoJO Rabbit! If anything, Thomasin McKenzie from JoJO Rabbit is more deserving than Scarlett.

  5. I think Joker will win for original score. Whatever you may think of the film, the score was amazing and I was so happy to see Hildur win at the Globes. Though I’m a fan of Newman, I really hope she takes the Oscar for Joker. Her work was phenomenal in Chernobyl too.

  6. I liked pacino better than pesci. Yeah, I said it. His character is just as dynamic as Pitt's. A bit comical, yeah, but it fit perfectly into Hoffa's influencer reputation as a character.

  7. I so hope that Adam Sandler slides into one of those nominee slots, I personally felt he gave the 3rd best lead actor performance of the year (only after Phoenix and Driver)

  8. Wow, so it's really between a heckin' lotta Scorps:
    Adam Driver (Scorpio);
    Joaquin Phoenix (Scorpio);
    Leonardo DiCaprio (Scorpio) » [who won one year with Emma Stone (Scorpio)];
    also, Scarlett Johansson (Scorpio).

    sry, astrology caught on… lol

    Best actor : Joaquin Phoenix
    Best actress : renne zellweger
    Best writing : Quentin tarantino

  11. Remember Glenn Close last year getting everything.. Look for a repeat with Renee losing with Charlize surprising..And don't underestimate the sentiment for Antonio Banderas– so deserving for Pain & Glory

  12. Greta Gerwig didn’t get a golden globe nom and THAT IS A CRIME! That movie was soooo damn well directed, the time cuts, the overlapping lines. Ugggh

  13. Judy just doesn’t seem like the type of movie I would enjoy watching but I feel like I’m missing out on Renee’s performance. Can someone tell me if the movie is worth watching?

  14. Spirit from the Lion King should win it's a masterpiece and the best Original Song(from the lyrics to the vocals to the musical arrangements) in that category. If the Oscars prides itself in awarding the most outstanding acting performances. Then this should apply to this category too.

  15. Last San Francisco and Lighthouse are really not getting enough recognition. Greener Grass was great and hasn’t been mentioned, Endgame deserves a couple of nominations.

  16. I don’t know but Bombshell to me sticks out like a sore thumb, out of all those movies it’s the only one I feel doesn’t deserve the nomination.
    I would put Knives Out, Uncut Gems, or The Lighthouse in that spot
