  7. even if that's what ends up happening who really cares? Playstation is still gonna have their kick ass exclusives. Xbox is turning into a convenience PC which is cool and all. But if it can't open up and have mods like a PC then….

  17. If this awful rumor is true, I will be passing up on the Playstation 5 entirely until the Pro model is released. These specifications are pathetic and there is no way I would ever spend a premium on such an anemic console. The only way I would ever consider purchasing this is if it costs the same as the Switch (namely $299.99).

  20. Power isn’t a matter at all, for me the experience counts and this is all thanks to exclusives like naughty dogs releases and a good fare of indie releases that all add up to the stack of memories i gained from it along with the emotional association that all feel great.
    Also, the given specs are little over what ps4 pro currently has, given that i noticed some other video’s which confirm this power range, but they assume these numbers are based on a dated plan that Sony meanwhile already revised. When the suspected figures of the revised plan matches the truth, we are looking at a 10+TF upgrade instead.

    The xbox one x has 6 tflops with the gcn architecture. The old architecture of amd.
    The new Architecture at 9.2-9.7 Tflops is as powerful as an 12 Tflop chip from the old Architecture. That means if the xbox series x has double the gpu power of the xbox one x it will have about the same 9.2 – 9.7 Tflops. Because the new RDNA architecture has higher gaming performance on lower Tflops

    If it has 12 tflops (and I would love to see that). Its stronger than the rtx 2080, but the nvidia ceo told us that the console isnt stronger than the rtx 2080.

  25. If Sony had come out with higher specs than Xbox everyone would be shouting PS5 has more power and is better. Now that it seems PS5 is lower spec now people are saying this the smarter move. Seems like whatever So ny do is great.

  33. Know what would be insane. Is if the next PSVR competes with all areas of VR. Tether to your system to compete against pc vr rigs. Have a wireless set-up for good 6dof wireless gaming. And remember that funny handheld patent. What if that's a memory box to carry games and plug into the headset via Oculus link like cable, to give powerful 6dof gaming anywhere like the Oculus quest ??‍♂️… That would be sick.
