Yo for international feature film you should check the Canadian submission (Quebec) for the oscars: Antigone. We all know parasite is going to win but please at least put it in the nominations for December.
DaFoe deserves supporting in my opinion. His performance was much more memorable to me than Phoenix’s Joker
My predictions
Best picture either the Irishman or once upon a time in Hollywood or Joker
Best director Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino or Todd Phillips
Best actor Joaquin Phoenix
Best supporting actor Brad Pitt
Best original score joker
and best cinematography for Laurence Sher
You forgot Todd Phillips for best director
Sick of people saying Driver will win. Nobody but Joaquin should win. All the iconic performances he's given he should already have at least 2 or 3 oscars by now. ffs Give him his damn oscar!!!
Yeah MS for screenplay. The whole category is underrated, probably the most important, and I believe it'll show in the film.
this guy needs to give joker the credit it deserves
I don't think Frozen 2 or Toy Story 4 will win. The Academy has never given the award to more than one film in a narrative franchise Best Picture/Animated Feature in it's history (the one exception being The Godfather Parts 1 & 2). I feel it will either go to HTTYD 3 (finally giving the franchise a win) or to Weathering with You (with another potential nomination for Best International Film).

i can’t believe you snubbed midsommar for cinematography!!!
