    Update: It turns out the next Xbox may just be called… Xbox (and Series X is just the model name used by Microsoft!)

  6. Either way I will be getting both as I always do but for me, when it comes to having a great dashboard and menu options, multiplayer stability and controller, I have been an Xbox fan from day 1. No sense in having the never ending debates about which is better when both have much to offer. Play what you enjoy and let others enjoy what they want. Other people’s opinions shouldn’t change what makes you happy.

  7. I am looking forward to the Xbox Series X and whatever else Xbox has to offer. I know that Sony and Nintendo will also be gearing up for the next best thing as well. Not hating on anyone if they chose one console over the other because we are all gamers in the end. Remember everyone, competition is always a great thing. ?

  21. (Xbox) The last console I played on was xbox 360 and ever since I built my own pc, I never heard from it ever again. Until Xbox Series X is kinda serious this time what a wonderful day, but hopefully the new Gen console will struck an interest for me on buying. Xbox one? PS4?

  27. I've heard price ranges for the Xbox series X from high $500.00 to $850.00. Tbh I don't mind this. With allllllll of the amazing Pc capable specs, graphics, Blu Ray and sooo much more, the price is so reasonable. Apple demands over a thousand for the same phone with a new camera and people LINE UP for that rubbish! So I am willing and able to buy them BOTH. With my own money for those annoying A-holes who will comment "daddy and mummys money". No, it is my money not bragging this is for those trolls. I mean have you seen the in game engine footage for Hellblade 2?! Good lord!! I cannot wait to play my favorite Norse shield maiden again. And it looks like actual humans will be in the game.

  36. 4 times something current isn't much of an hardware upgrade.
    I guarantee that the PS5 wont have that ugly V shape. Even the old fakes of PS1 had better designs.
    Also the V shape is a airtrap, not perferable.. And I'm pretty sure that there won't be any
    gimmick screens in PS5 Controllers. It's been done before with failure.. because there isn't
    any advantage of having a screen in your lap than a simple menu. I do think that they will
    improve the rumble function. Each etheration of PS controllers have always improved the rumble function.
    PS4 was called HD rumble, which basicly just had finer tuning of the motors making them
    do more subtle movements and more ranges. Which is basicly what's going to be improved
    on with software function with more bandwidth for fine instructions. They might be using the same motors tho.

    I'd go for the PS5. I think Microsoft has alot ot prove before I get another xbox since the 360.

  37. Im guessing microsoft has chosen their names because playstation started a generation before playstation so to match playstation 3 they had xbox 360 and then there isnt a commonly known number that starts with 4 or five so the xbox one and X like a variable.
    So this is prob done from marketing worrying about a subconscious bias. and its funny to me that they advertise how one is more powerful than the other but really the xbox and playstation have basically become the same thing hardware wise this next generation more than ever. I know one reason is so devs dont have to work any harder making their game for different systems and the interface or the controllers are even the same(slight difference with pad and stick and extra buttons).
