The Oscars is a competition and, just like any competition, the best wins. If you had a 100 metre race with seven white athletes and one black athlete and the black athlete came last it is not a reflection on their skin colour as it just shows that the black athlete was not good enough to win. And so it is with the Oscars, if, as director or an actor your performance is not good enough to win a nomination then so be it, accept you were not good enough to win. However, if all the best actor nominees were black and there was a protest that there was no white nominee then that protest would be called racist, so why is it not racist if there is a protest that there was no black nominees?

I have a serious question. Why do minorities claim they hate segregation but want to be segregated when it comes to certain things. For example: They don't want to be treated as a minority but when the Oscars nominate all white people they want it known that no minority was nominated? Well thought the whole point was that you were now inclusive so what should it matter that white people got nominated? Do you think you are special or talented just because you have…let's say…black skin? No. Why would you want to be nominated just on skin color? Wouldn't that be a token nomination?
