3. So after you get the second router configured do you still have to leave the eather net cable plugged into your other router or can you unplug it and move it to a different location like u do with a repeater?

9. Thank you for explaining this. What about the DD-WRT file installation? If you configure second router the way you have done here, does that mean that you have to have a long LAN cable to go out to the second router? Can you not make the connection from the primary router to the secondary router a wireless connection? Do you have a video that explains how to do that?

18. Very nice! So simple. I did this 12 years ago with an old 2.4G adsl modem, but I couldn't remember the steps. My wifi link speed has gone from 135 Mbps to 866 Mbps. (Who's a clever Dad!)

20. when i change the ip address the browser gets disconnected and i could not get into the changed ip address. also, the new ip address doesnt show up in ipconfig. what do you think is the problem?

25. Hi,can I still use a regular Wi-Fi extender ? Example -main router _-second router-wifiextender, I live on a split level flat and signal in second floor is not very good, would that work? Great video

27. Why so much settings when you can use both the routers together. Just take an output form your mother router and insert it to the internet port of the second router. For second router choose dynamic IP address and you are all set. I'm using Netgear and Mi router together, no problem so far.
