6. My girlfriend has extremely severe childhood abuse, though doesn't have DID. Her more extreme flashbacks almost feel akin to a switch, as she completely retreats beyond my reach. It's scary, it's hard, knowing what can happen to a person, knowing what human beings are capable of, and seeing that every single day, being experienced almost in real time, by someone you love and cannot help. It feels so very, very lonely. But, seeing your strength and resilience in your own personal battle dealing with the long term effects of childhood trauma, though your life may take a very different shape and it's manifestation be different, is very inspiring. Happiness is possible, even for those who have suffered beyond imagination. You give me hope.

15. I don’t have DID but I am trying to understand it more. I wish I could know exactly what goes on but I can’t. I can just ask I guess. So I was wondering if there is a whole world inside your mind where your other personalities live. And does it feel real if there really is a world? I hope these questions are ok to ask.

Hey I just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing these very personal things, it’s helping me better understand DID as me and my friend think she may have DID (I know you shouldn’t self diagnose but she’s trying to understand what’s going on with her) this channel is so helpful. 19. The privacy of the littles is very important to the DID system. For those of you who continue to badger Jade, Chloe, Nadia, and the rest of the system about them, think about children you care about. Wouldn't you do anything for them to keep them safe? I know I would. So if you can't respect that, then leave your hate comments in your brain and burry them there.

21. Jade just shows this clear motherly instinct to us. She's a lion protecting her cubs, looking at us and speaking with the needed firmnes to show us she's serious. It's nice in a way to see someone care about someone else like this. Lots of respect for taking care of the littles.

25. I love how Jade will guard the littles with her life. We do not need to know what happened to the littles. We don't need to know why they were created. That's preying on a child. Chloe needs to be kept safe from further harm. That's what created her D.I.D. in the first place. Those littles hold harmful memories. We need to respect them and the other alters.

36. Hello. New fan here! And with so much question. Are the littles able to drive? If you are driving and you switch, does the little know what to do? Because i would be worried if it happened. (sorry for not using the right terminology, English is not my first language, so it will take time to get familiar with the words).

    How does finding a partner work? You have your different alters with different interests( having straight males and straight females for example) would the partner be the one the host is in love with or would there be different partners for different alters? I'm still learning so I apologise if this comes off as rude or offensive, but I am curious and would love to start understanding DID more. Thank you in advance ?❤️
