How about getting rid of some of the members in the academy that hold on to outdated ideologies and racist attitudes.
Instead change the direction category why don't come back with 5 films nominees?
I agree to expend as they did with best picture but having 10 nominees in all major category really huge increse.
I would rather just suggest having 7 nominees to start with in best picture, director andi in all major category andd see how it pan out.

Sorry but Todd Phillips doesn't deserve the nomination. Greta and Noah did a much better work with their movies. One of them should have been the 5th nominee.
The academy needs to change the qualifications for 'supporting' performances. It's unfair that so many great, true supporting performances are being left out because lead actors choose to be nominated in supporting categories because they feel they have a better shot at winning. NOT GOOD!!

Then when women can’t make the top 10 they’ll claim there needs to be 15 then 20. Then every will be getting nominated. Then every will get a trophy or they’ll still get called sexist or racist.
How about we just expect better of people up for awards! If women want to be some of those people they need to try harder. And maybe make movies everyone wants to see not just women!
