If it weren't for Mark Martin, Ricky or Rusty would have been my fav.
Bad boys
I remember the first time i saw a drivers feet live during a race was Ricky's at sears point. Hes a badass
Alright boys and girls this is it now. No sports but I-sports.
More Rudd/Bodine/Dale Sr. please. That on track war was the best of my lifetime. Rudd and Bodine both had the car control skills and mind set to rub on Earnhardt. Few others dared do it until Gordon came along. Imo Rusty kinda tended to race Earnhardt clean because he knew what would happen if he didn't. Elliot and Martin were that way with Sr, to. And to his credit Sr. was clean with those who were clean with him…mostly anyway.
?
I wonder what would happen if Ricky Rudd stayed in the 3….
Can't thank you enough Jr. for doing these Podcasts……it actually gives me a bit more insight and, to a certain degree, closure on a few events through the years.
the " Rooster " don't fool with this little guy.
Rudd and the Intimidator where the two cars I loved watching muscle around Sears Point. Both looked like they where going to drive the car into the wall every lap, yet some how would be up front at the end?
I never liked Rudd. Him and Rusty were both always cry babies!
when I really young, early 2000s late late 90s I was really into Nascar.. I played the videos games. But it wasnt anything serious..I just had a love for cars. I actually learned about nascar mostly was through the game I played on Ps4. I learned most rules, drivers and how to race different tracks through a video game. After a couple years I grew out of it. And havent turned back but Dale Jr's show has really remarked my interest..I love these little podcasts
If Rudd were in his prime today he would undoubtedly smoke everyone.
Ricky Rudd was and always will be my favorite driver
Great venue to clear the air. Great stories! ??
Good story. Rudd was my favorite driver, primarily when he was sponsored by Tide. My dad was a P&G engineer, hence the connection. Met Rudd in Cincinnati one year. It was a highlight for me! Thanks for posting this Junior!
Ricky's a bitter weasel still grudgin
Oh how I miss those days…when it was true racing!…???
I'd take Rudd in a fight against anybody on the oval
This was a great interview. RIP Dale Intimidator Earnhardt. Forever missed. I still can’t believe he died from that accident. I didn’t even believe it when I heard. How could that accident have killed him when so many horrible accidents didn’t
It’s so cool to hear these personal stories. And really awesome to hear from Ricky Rudd. I don’t feel like he ever did too many interviews. Very cool stuff.
The last race at Rockingham was the week after Earheart passed I was at that race they gave out watches with a 3 on them
When big men meet and act with such class we have to stand and appreciate. Thank you both.
Senior would’ve stomped Rickys ass
Man, when I was into NASCAR Ricky Rudd was my favorite. Tide cars was the coolest. Ricky sounds like a class act
Man these stories are so great!
TIDE #10 Ricky Rudd ! for president 2020.
Always hear about wilksboro. Why has that track not been resurrected?
Woohoo Rooster!
I miss NASCAR. WINSTIN CUP.. 80s and 90s..
❤❤❤❣?
What a fantastic interview! I always wondered what happened to that relationship! I’m glad they reconciled before ASR’s death!
I been a fan along time, rudd was no joke, he wasn't nobody to play around or beat on out there, rather it be earnhardt or whoever
DALE JR. HAVE AWESOME BILL FROM DAWSONVILLE ON YOUR SHOW!!
Great content!
LOL, Dale saying he doesn't remember in 88. Pretty sure Senior took someone out would be every driver's answer. And Ricky got a $10,000 fine.
LOL, "They spent a lot of time in the woods."
Those were the days when NASCAR wasn’t located in Mr Rogers Neighborhood!! Today we have bitches ?

Its crazy that fines were 10 grand then and are still 10 grand now, 30 some odd years later. Its a slap on the wrist!
Ricky Rudd and Rusty Wallace were real good buddies !!! Lol
Dale Sr won the 1994 Winston Select 500 with Childress’ team, which was the win he dedicated to the fallen Ayrton Senna
A good Racer he was still is ..always liked Him..
@ 3:35 "Whats this show rated"? "You can say whatever you wanna say!" NASCAR has lossed that. Thats the spice that NASCAR was. If you got something to say, let the boys be boys and figure it out. NASCAR will never be the same.
Should have asked Ricky about NASCAR taking his win away at Sears Point and giving it to Davey Allison. That still ticks me off when I think of it.
That was totally awesome!
if you could turn back time
Ricky Crudd still whining after all these years, some things never change.
I moved to Chesapeake va in 85. All my new friends where nascar fans. So they told me I had to pick a driver to root for. By living where Ricky Rud came from I chose him. I never stopped being a fan of his. Those years of the 80s where great.
