  1. Much of this video is completely wrong. On PS5 GPU frequency is variable (it can't sustain 2,23GHz constantly, otherwise they would have fixed the clock), NAVI GPUs performance doesn't scale linearly with clock frequency, Cerny didn't mention any Variable Rate Shading (VRS) or Machine Learning (ML), less CU means less raytracing. On the other hand Microsoft is talking about velocity architecture which can close the gap in the memory throughput with SFS, fourthermore what Sony said about loading and streaming massive levels and worlds on the fly as you go, was already prooved possible in the Hellblade 2 trailer on Series X. Loadings will take 2 seconds on PS5 and 3 seconds on Series X, no big difference there. Machine learining and raytracing will be what makes the true differences between the two next-gen consoles.

  2. I would not describe that backwards compatibility as good in any way. Fans have wanted to be able to play ps2 and ps1 games on their new consoles for a long time.

  3. Another video from a fanboy. Ummm bigger number not better me think. I mean for real get Sony D out your mouth. If you still support a system that doesn’t put out a good exclusive until the end of its life time then by all means wear your helmet

  4. I like both Sony and Microsoft, the PS2 and PS3 were better in my opinion for their equivalent Microsoft counterparts, however for this generation I believe Microsoft will take the cake simply because of it's ideals on versatility. Of course everyone will have their own opinions but since the specs of each console are so close together opinions and feel of the console are all that will matter. This being said, I'm the type of person who will eventually get both products (even if it's years after release) because EXCLUSIVES!

  5. Um.. I've owned a PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4…. The Series X is looking pretty good now since I got this here Xbox companion on my gaming laptop that just sits there, can't be uninstalled… I'm OCD fuck you ?? Either buying the series X or installing an operating system without that app like SteamOs or linux. fuck it. 3rd Edit: Marijuana is currently being consumed.

  6. This gen of consoles even outperform RTX 2080!!! This is INSANE!!! And this only for 500$ and I don’t include CPU, RAM, SSD, 4K Blu-ray player etc.

    XBOX SERIES X = 560GB/360GB Bandwidth | 380 GT/s | 146 GP/s
    PS5 = 448GB Bandwidth | 322 GT/s | 143 GP/s
    RTX 2080 = 448GB Bandwidth | 315 GT/s | 110 GP/s

  7. Like I dont understand Like Sony knew that it comes down to numbers like ok 3.5 ghz vs xbox 3.8… what's the point of being 0.2 off ?

    10.28 TFlops 36CUs vs 52 CUs ect…

    I know it's only a little off but it matter when it comes down to specs and people dont care what's higher as long as it is

  8. SPU Comes from Synergistic Processor Unit (PS3). In the talk Mark Cerny said it's A Modified CU to mimick a SPU from ps3, because ps3 Spu's were good at pumping data because they use up to no cache. Also 3d audio isn't just "Surround sound". Surround sound is a circle were as 3d sound is actually a sphere… marioland vs mario 64

  9. Honestlty since I heard they will use Sd memory, that put me off. How can they go from 1Tb to 800 somthing gb. They just want consumers to spend more money to add more memory. They should go forward not backwards.

  10. Let's make this more simplified
    PS5 = 4cyl Turbo
    X Series = V8
    Only time will tell which is better, last longer, and less subject to overheading. ???

  11. You do a good job making the PS5 sound amazing. To bad you have absolutely no idea wtf you are talking about when it comes to variable specs.
