12. Guys dont use the twrp file and supersu file mentioned in this video if you are using android oreo. Search for the updated ones and use them instead.

23. Tutorial did not work. When entering recovery mode at 2:54 the phone just turns off. Do not waste your time on this tutorial people. Plus be aware you will lose all your data if you don't recover before doing this. If you follow the tutorial by the video you could lose all your data as he doesn't say to the viewers you will lose all your data until it already is too late.

    If you still want to do this and you get the same problem when entering recovery mode you can fix it by using https://eu.dl.twrp.me/oneplus3/twrp-3.2.0-0-oneplus3.img.html instead of the recovery.img he provided. Download the file in the link and rename it to recovery.img. Then keep following his procedure and you will get the same result as him. You will also need the lates SuperSU file and not the one he provided. Get he lates SuperSU here http://www.supersu.com/download

40. Okay, so yesterday I tried to root my OP 3 with this method. But after installing it and rebooting, my phone heats up, and I get stuck on the boot screen with the spinning circles, and it turns off the phone after like 10 minutes.. I Factory Reset my phone, and it worked perfect again, but with no root. I tried the same with another version of SuperSU, but still the same result. So now I'm stuck again on the boot screen. I really wanna root my phone, so help would be appreciated. Thanks

43. Hi there! I got an issue, basically, after installing the SU, the reboot actually doesn't work and gets a "soft brick". So, then I have to reinstall the OSystem, and it gets to work fine, but, it isn't rooted. So, anyone has a solution or an idea?
