Yep mark cerny has said it which means 36 complete units can act like 72 because it doubles the Instruction per clock so that 10.3 teraflops can act like higher than 10.3 that's the secret look up the technology on Google it's called Single Instruction Multiple Data
I believe that Sony I'd using Single Instruction Multiple Data on there compute units which could make each compute unit act like 2 compute units because it can accept the data which makes alot would make alot of sense if they do that that would make 36 compute units act like 72

Sony's PR on all this has been very bad. They needs someone like Phil Spencer to get everyone excited… I think maybe the specs have spooked them slightly and they need to realise the games sell the console. Not the specs.

Got to say Sony disappointed me with the specs of the ps5. Not only is it less powerful than the Xbox Series X but it doesn't have the full backwards compatibility or the easy storage solution that Microsoft has. That said, I'll still buy if it has the games I want. Launch day Xbox will be my first next gen console. Sony needs to bring out the pro version fast with full backwards compatibility and a better storage solution. I don't care if ps5 loads a few seconds quicker than series x. Really Sony
