13. I just don't get the response to this "pandemic." The flu, which kills way more people, does not get this type of reaction. When AIDS was not well understood, people thought that it could be contracted by using the same toilet seat, or by sharing a kiss, or even by using the same cup. Yet, it did not elicit the same massive take. I don't understand. The vast majority of infected folks will have symptoms similar to a mild cold; others will not even feel a thing! A tiny % will bite the dust. So, why is the defensive strategy so over the top? It seems excessive to activate the National Guard– as New Jersey has. There seems to be something amiss. There is something they're not divulging– like the true seriousness of the matter, or something so sinister that activating the Guard is a must. I dont know. Maybe I'm being a bit nonsensical. It just looks so contradictory that something less serious than the flu gets a reaction suitable for an ebola pandemic. I wonder….
