10. Call me a critic, but I want to correct Mat's pronunciation of the rocket launcher. "Huo Long Chu Shui" doesn't translate to "Fire dragon issuing out of the water" but more translates to "fire dragon coming out of the water" and no I don't see the similarity between "issuing out" and "coming out" and maybe I'm wrong, but that's the literal translation. Chinese are known for fancy names for their weaponry so it might have been "Fire Dragon Flying out of the water" or "Fire dragon Soaring out of the water". People who know better please correct me. No hate, I absolutely love this man and his theories

37. Mongols for history reasons? While the Mongols are clearly the image they wanted to invoke I must inform you that the Huns have a better claim of you know actually existing at the time Mulan was written. Granted they were invading the Romans not the Chinese at the time.
    Regardless it was probably some other nomadic tribe. Although ironically considering the history of the time it's possible that Mulan was from a previous invading tribe who settled down, and was in turn invaded hence her depiction as a horse mounted warrior.
    Edit: hmm you knew most of that although I heard she was around in the 3to 5 hundreds. Regardless Huns much closer then Mongols. Of course its Disney so sending mixed signals is their thing. taking Mongol aesthetics and cannons. Then putting them with Huns and Mulan is the crazy sort of research decisions they would do.
