  20. Anyone know why my screen is blinking/ jumping up and down every other minute? It’s very annoying. I brought it from eBay and they replaced the display with an after market one before shipping it to me. They didn’t mention the display was replaced with a after market one in the listing. They want me to ship it back for a refund.

  26. im still really happy with my iphone x but one thing that really bothers me is how expensive it is to replace the screen. I only dropped it once over the course of 2 years thanks to a bee stinging me in the hand I was holding the phone. I even had a case and a display protector on but it still landed on the display and now there are cracks all over it.. you kinda dont see them but it still bothers me.

  33. Hey Hugh Jeffery, quick question would there be any way to replace the barometer and compass censor on the Xs max? And if so where would the be located. I bought a brand new x max and tried to test the water resistance and it got water damage and I took it to geek squad for a diagnoses because it keeps shorting our every 3 mins and it just won’t stop resetting and they said that it’s the barometer and compass censor causing the headache. But they want $600 US dollars for the repair

  34. A little astuce : on some screens on AliExpress, you can give the Screen Number to the seller, and he transfer it to the new display before send it so you can keep TrueTone without the material.

  36. I've been watching your videos over a course of about 3 months, and it's just making me want to refurbish old phones to new phones. Only problem is, sourcing the parts from a trusted seller around the UK.

    Have you got and tips and tricks for a person who is wanting to rebuild new phones? I have previously replaced old screens to new screens for iPhone but nothing like this. But there is always a starting point right? Hopefully you will see this comment!

  43. Good on Ya for the video. Most was good except you kept touching the front cameras and holographic sensor which can be damaged with your finger oils. And you didn’t use heat to remove the proximity and war speaker which can cause the flex to break if pull on too hard. Also never use metal tools inside of the phone, next time use a plastic playing card to remove this.

    My iPhone 10 recently the screen been playing up where the whole screen is green. The only way I fixed this for the time being is I gave it a knock at the top then the screen went back to normal.

    Do you know what is causing this issue and what the problem is?
