14. simpler solution: go to preferences, graphics, then click the slot where it says 6000x 2000 or something, now goto to highest one. click done. its obviously super laggy but now choose auto (window size) this is how mine became smooth
    and was at playable FBS.

18. I guess playing Dragon Quest VIII on Citra would be real laggy, even after configuring the way you described, the sound was laggy. I'll leave a link to my stats, I'm currently using Citra Nightly 1319.

33. Unlocking your fps is silly for emulation. The game no longer runs at the intended speed. Also, if you have a decent GPU, setting the upscale amount can improve FPS so the emulator utilities your GPU more.

34. This game supposed to be in 30fps, wich means that if you play it in 60fps you just play it on 2 times higher speed than it supposed to be. DON'T turn off the limiter of fps for god's sake.

35. Don't disable the framerate limiter.
    Some games are set to run at a steady 30FPS/60FPS, without the limiter.
    However, games like Pokémon S&M/US&UM don't have that.
    Making the game run much faster than intended.
    It can cause some glitches.
