In 2016, I had a tumour that required brain surgery. I was in the the hospital for 8 days and 7 nights. All in, the cost was about €11,000, and I paid nothing…not even a co-pay. How in God's name is a test $9000? Sickening.

Dental is also free up to age 18. And COVID tests are free too. This goes a long way to explain why your numbers infected in the US are so high. Who could afford that? My family was severely sick in January but we never got tested. Although it makes me wonder if COVID-19 hasn’t been on US soil a lot longer then people think.. some just like me don’t have the $$ to get tested for random viruses.
