  2. The Remake is perfect. I love.

    But… multiplayer…
    The game is good and interesting, but it has negative points:

    Pros:

    The game comes with free RE3. So there is no total disappointment in having spent money on a bad game.

    Against:

    1 – Lootbox:

    And off we go with the problems of mercenary developer. You are learning right from EA Games, Blizzard, Activision … There will probably be DLC costing your face.

    2 – Hackers and matches:

    Capcom is not very good with online games. We have had experience with Operation Raccoon City full of hackers in unfair matches. Not to mention the Umbrella Corps that has already arrived dead, taking centuries to find a match. It would be good for Capcom to prepare and take offline mode against bots, so that players who spend extra MONEY can enjoy in the future what they PAID, when the game dies or the hackers dominate.

    3 – Server:

    Server has those little Delay issues, but Capcom is a master at it. It will frustrate you when you think you are running away and suddenly Mr. X is in front of you killing you (it happened a lot with Operation Raccoon City, RE5 and RE6, that is: everyone).

    I played BETA for a few hours and the game disconnected me twice. One saying that my internet cable was disconnected (everything was fine). The other disconnected me without giving a message.

    4 – Very unfair start:

    I have already played a few games at BETA and one at the official and I can say that you can only beat a survivor if the villain is very, very, very noob. Mr. X with three punches throws you to the floor. It is impossible to find him with the damn weapons you have. (this includes flamethrower, machine gun, SMG, pistol). You and the team can unload ammunition that you don't win at all. Really bad! You come back after falling, but there is a penalty in time and you end up losing the game.

    It has happened about 8 times, the players abandoned the game because it was unfair.

    5 – More team matches than PvP:

    Every game that has PvP matches, someone uses a hacker to win. This in Capcom games is nothing new. The game is very fragile and its source code is easily accessible to the malicious.

    It could have a team mode (the survivors) against Artificial Intelligence (the villain). So the game would be more focused on the players helping each other and the game would be fairer. An example of this type of game is Left 4 Dead, where you can play against AI.

    6 – It is taking 5 minutes to find a match. The mechanics of the game are still stuck and the game needs to balance better. There is a map that at the beginning has a Casino room, the atmosphere is dark, you don’t see anything (and it’s not the faint glow).

    Like other online RE games, this one will die before its time.

  3. Capcom are my favorite developers and resident evil is my favorite series, i hope veronica and 4 will be remaked too, both games, especially 4 will be longer compared to 2 and 3 unless some of the original places are cut like in remakes of 2 and 3

Have to say that I'm shocked that RE3 is even more of a disappointment than RE2, based on RE2 I knew they were going to make it unfaithful to the original but this is a new low, inb4 people bring up Resistance,as much as trash it is it has nothing to do with so much cut content from RE3 as Resistance was developed by an outside studio hired by Capcom so nobody to blame on this than Capcom. This has only solidified my decision to not trust Capcom anymore as they betrayed the fans, people have been asking for over 15 years for Remakes and finally they gave us hope only to crush it and stab us in the back with these mediocre "Remakes" that aren't even that, 15 years of wait for nothing, I was loyal to Capcom even when they were at their low for all these years but now I see that they clearly don't listen to the fans or even don't know what they are doing at this point. Inb4 some of you come with "go play the old games if these aren't so great" and such. Let me ask you this, as a consumer why would you settle with something less, something short of perfection? As a consumer it is your right to ask for a product of superior quality. Only thing you are doing with these comments is doing a disservice to yourself.

  7. Great game but short lived, if instead of budgeting a multiplayer nobody wanted and had focused solely on REmake 3 it could have been a better experience, kinda sad when the original had more content and replay value, gonna pick this up on sale.

    RE3R created with money in mind

    RE2R stays true to original with minor alteration with fairly rich content
    RE3R is a short cash grab game, partnered with DBDL clone to cover its lack of content. Would've been justified if the RE:RESISTANCE Is Re outbreak file 3 instead, no lame mastermind idea.

    Nosemesis, that became An offspring of licker and xenomorph later on is an abomination

    And oh the only good things about this game are changes in Carlos, Jill and Hunter.

    Can't believe that after Re2R which is almost a master piece (Because they fucked up the A and B scenario) you guys followed it with rushed and an obvious cash grab game.

  12. I pley old re3 month a go and watching how look new re3 .
    On my opinion im disapointed .
    First nemesis form its good.
    next form look nothing to fear
    2nd form look like boosted licker
    3rd form enter like poop and when take position i fill like watching re5 uroboros fight.
    thinking what can't get out my head , why this spaider thing make hentai with jill that no good look .
    Last my bad opinion is
    not clock tower.
    not grave digger.
    Not giant spider.
    No brad take nemesis tentacle to face.
    I think this new re3 make my fear.
    No desapointing.
    I don't buy that game.

  14. RE 3 was my favourite Resi game of all time but this remake not nearly as good as the old one.

    The new Nemesis isn't scary (his voice is ridiculous and his appearance is worse than old)

    Jill had blue eyes anyway. I'm so angry at Capcom. Otherwise I wanted this episode in next gen, It was too early. Where are the original soundtrack & the choices at all? This game isn't frightening…

  23. Where's the merchant from RE4? I'd gladly sell him Project Resistance to get all the cut content back in this so called "remake."

    This could've legendary, Capcom. Instead, it's just good at best.

  32. Game is pretty solid but too short for the full asking retail price. There's 0 replayability value. Why lower the age restriction?! You didnt have to dumb down the gore system and remove the ragdolls. Know your customers…they are not 15 year old kids….
    This wont be a huge succes like the RE2R was…so i hope you learn from these mistakes Capcom.
    PS. I hope you remake Code Veronica next. Do it properly like you did with RE2R please. Thanks :p
