Hi Tim, i've successfully rooted as you showed in the video. after rooting i'm unable to do my software update and it still shows my software is upto date. mine is galaxy s5 at&t version and im using this in india. pls help.
Wow At&t & Verizon have really put a stop to rooting permanently since locking the bootloaders from the galaxy S5 up , I cant believe developers havent found a way to counter that in the 3 years its been since the s5 release , I use to get t-mobile android phones and unlock them to use with my at&t but now even t-mobile & sprint are locking the bootloaders and no one can come up with rooting methods , looks like I'm gonna have to end up switching to iphones cause at least those great minds are always working & bringing out new jailbreak methods for the iphone up until now.
