My pro on a lan at highest was 237 down and never over 8 up. I'm pissed. On top of it all I run a speed test immediately after the first and it will be dramatically different. Drop to like 160 down and 3 up. Constantly fluctuating. Is that shit or what
Your still limited by the server your testing from. My guess is that the Playstation is set to speed test from Sony servers on the PS Network. Because it doesn't make sense to them to spend money on more headroom for a speed test on the server. I get the same max results on my PS4 Pro with a Gigabit connection. The PS4 is capable of 1 Gig (10/100/1000 mbps) but again your still relying on the server it's testing from having the ability to support that.

Before that I was using WiFi and was quite far from the router and was only getting 15Mbps/1Mbps at best, sometimes it was even only between 1 and 4Mbps down it was unusable at times. I pay for 200Mbps, but it's obviously dependant on stuff like how far from the exchange and stuff you are

With 5g WiFi I usually get 150 mb but I saw 200 sometimes

Your speeds for fortnite are about 40 megabytes per second it should literally be about three times faster than that for True gigabit internet I have Comcast for mine and I get about the same and I kind of think it's bullshit and so I might downgrade back to my regular to 50 megabit per second connection since I'm not getting much faster than that with gigabit.
I wouldnt go off ps4 or ps4 pro speed test they are terrible, your better off doing a speed test on your nokia phone then ps4
