9. I have spectrum wifi and it has the options of 2g and 5g wifi and my og ps4 is only able to connect to 2g for some reason so if I were to get a pro, would I be able to connect to 5g? I was planning on getting my own ps4 anyways but I wanna make sure I get one that will have better wifi connection

15. Download speeds mean absolutely shit when playing fps online, it's upload speeds that matter most and your uploads are crap on that pro.and the upload was better on the original.make me not want to upgrade but I've been told the pro is much better in internet speeds.

24. Thanks for the video, Man. I have a 200 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload speed. With the PlayStation 4, only like 50 Mbps can achieve but I hope can take advantage with the PlayStation 4 Pro.
    Edit: With the PLAYSTATION 3 is just impossible to have a good download speed, even over Ethernet Cable.

26. Also, as much as I dislike Microsoft, the Xbox one x is set to make the ps4 pro look like a bad joke with its hardware capabilities, so unless you just can't wait….

27. People are ridic. If you have a steady 2 to 3 mbs download speed you can play any online game and stream any HD video… The problem was the original ps4 would fluctuate down to 100 kbs and worse because the hardware was bad. You could have 999 mbs download internet and it would not fix that.

31. FYI, this won't make your PSN downloads any faster. The slowness of that is almost entirely on the server side because sony refuses to use a shared packet download like every single other digital distribution network on the planet.

32. hey this is great thanks for sharing. just one thing the upload for the 5ghz is only like 2 mbps for your network (while ur down is like 80), doesnt that suck for online gaming as in u lag all over the place on other ppl screen? is the slow up a ps4 issue or u simply have network with low up

35. Thanks for the video. I have the OG PS4, and since buying a shiny new 4K TV for the family, moved the unit from a wired to wireless connection. The performance is utter shit. I get exactly what you show. 20-30Mbps and diminishing results as you test. I have seen it down around 10Mbps, and this is with 100Mbps wifi. For the first time I am tempted to get a Pro, just because Sony screwed us with the OG PS4 wifi radio.

42. Just got my pro and it had better wireless connection than my regular ps4 with lan cable its took me 1 minute to load into gta online

46. Thanks for the post – these results are why the pro is worth the upgrade – pro tip, upgrade the ethernet cables to cat6a, saw a 2x boost on that alone from the cable modem to my wifi router
