HELP! I’m in the UK and have an iPhone 10S with a Sky data plan – I’m going to Australia on holiday and don’t want to pay £6 a day to use that plan. How do I go about setting up a second sim when I’m in AUS? Will I need my phone unlocking beforehand? Can I buy an Australian plan online in advance? Any help is appreciated – thanks!

Wait iPhone XS has dualsim?
I have tested many travel eSIM options out there. Almost all of them had issues in Caribbean region. This might be due to the carrier coverage there which is digicel. There are some global eSIMs out there which are on the expensive side. If you seek local eSIMs then Airalo is a fairly priced eSIM store. eSIM technology will surely be the defacto way to connect in 3-5 years but till then we will still need our physical SIM cards so don't throw them away 🙂
