Hello Sir, I just watched your video, my problem is that I just baught brand new kingston a400 ssd for my toshiba c55 a series laptop but after installing windows 10 and its all updates the ssd not giving the r/w speed as it should (500mbs and 350mbps) at this moment ssd giving only 100mbps on r/w…. Please help me to sort out this issue, thanks in advance.

  13. You can use the free HWINFO utility to find out if your SATA interface is SATA I, II or III. I suspect yours is probably SATA II because I purchased my Toshiba laptop in 2010 and it has a SATA II interface. Also, do you know if upgrading from a 5400 RPM HDD to a 7200 RPM HDD will make a noticeable difference? Thanks.

  15. Dude Your Mobo is on your laptop that has so much older sata like sata 2 or below that is why ssd is slow on your laptop , İf you put this ssd to new mobo and sata 3 then it will work much better than this.

  17. Do you know that laptop (if hd3000 or hd4000 equipped) is a perfect hackintosh? Every piece of hw works apart WiFi (you have to replace with a 4 euros one that works).

  18. This is faster than my mum's old laptop from 2009 which has a pentium something at like 2.1GHz dual core no hyperthreading and also 2GB ram

  23. I have an old Lenovo ThinkCenter Tower with Intel Duo Core E8400 3.0 GHz, 8GB memory, and with Kingston SA400 240GB SSD.

    Bootup time is 22 seconds (10 seconds if BIOS bootup is excluded.).
    Shutdown time is 5 seconds.

    These are the times recorded using Windows 10 Pro, vesion 1703 ( Creators Update ).
    My old computer only has the SATA 2 capability and so the SSD is running at just half speed.

    So for a computer that was constructed in 2009, this has been a great update indeed !

  28. Hey man great video, I want to buy the same ssd and put in on my lenovo z480, I've seen they come with just the ssd and with a kit, is the kit mandatory, because in your video you just use the case of the old hdd and install it, thank you

  29. well i hav a new acer E15 (i5 processor) with 4 GB ram & 1000 GB HHD. At first lap seem to be working fine and the booting speed was good . i just installed one game and it just started to lag,the booting speed has decreased alot . Is their anything to increase the speed? now i have uninstalled the game ! but their wasn't any increase in speed??what can i do about it its brand new
