  2. Appreciate your discipline Max, some of us have to wait probably entirely another year for the pc release, I think there's nothing wrong with pacing yourself to add value to your own separate experience

  4. As someone who's finished it I am GLAD I didn't watch that trailer before experiencing the game for myself. You're definitely going to enjoy the game more NOT watching it. What were Square Enix thinking!?

  9. As a lucky European with an early copy, I'm still hype to see Max's playthrough and reactions to everything in the Remake.
    I feel like there will be a specific sect of FF7 fans who will think the game is crap – the usual puritans who think things are crap for the sake of it, to get a reaction – but for me, a fan since I was a kid playing FF7 and getting hard stuck on goddamn Carry Loader because I didn't understand what levels or stats were, the remake is i n c r e d i b l e . . .

  10. As someone who watched the latest trailer, and now has the game as of Friday 3rd, there's a LOT you haven't seen — I completely understand your decision to hold off but please be reassured that the game is absolutely amazing and there's SO MUCH that hasn't been revealed.

  13. I completely get what Max is talking about. I experienced what he was talking about in Dark Souls 3. I bought the game when it first came out, but I wouldn't clear a level and fight the final boss until I watched someone like FightingCowboy or whoever do it first, and so ultimately when I went through the levels and ended up beating the game, I sat back and realized that doing that completely wiped away all of the wonder the game was trying to impart on me. Knowing how something works before you get to experience it yourself completely cheapens the moment, and can actually negatively impact your over-all opinion of the game itself, even if it was you or someone else who spoiled it for you and not something the game did. I was gonna use the RE3make as my example as I watched SkillUp's review on it before it came out, and I gotta say it kind of cheapened the experience for me going through it. But that game just came out the other day so I didn't want to go into detail about it.

  15. I caved and watched a stream on twitch. 5 minutes in and I couldn't watch anymore, simply because the guy playing was so bad. Barely knew the mechanics and lore. Most of the people streaming right now are not real fans of the franchise. They just want to be first and get traction. Now I'm just waiting for Max to give this game the treatment it deserves.

  16. I think the game was already out in some other country but I got my copy today (spain), so everyone be careful because sadly as more people get it, more spoilers will appear online. Anyway good video, hope you all enjoy the game.

  17. after having played the leaked ff7r im preity sad square openly lied in its advertisement about the space babies. that was supposed to be a central part of not just the plot but what shapes the feel and mistique of the game.

  18. I understand what Max is saying. I'm lucky to be in Australia and got my copy on the 1st of April and I wouldn't even dream of spoiling anything! I've been able to dive in and experience it without being tempted to listen to other people's opinions and criticism. I think I'm enjoying it more because of this!!

  26. I don’t listen to critics because i can like a game that the critics hate and I can hate the game that the critics like reviews don’t matter to you. It’s all about your opinion of the game not what anyone else says

  27. I don't get what people are talking about with spoilers. The only thing it slightly spoils is how far it's going. You see a bunch of npcs and the mention of something new but it doesn't spoil anything cause there is no real way to to draw the conclusion.

  31. Smart man Square loves to spoil their entire games in trailers. KH3 trailers literally spoiled everything and left almost no surprises.

  35. At this point even if something does get spoiled for me, I won’t be too mad because I’m reminding myself that there is still Part 2 and Part 3. The journey is not over

  39. square enix is ruining their own game by trowing out this many trailers.
    they trow out so much stuff of the game as "trailer" that it almost looks like sabotaging their own Stuff…

    its weird.. they are so excited to show stuff… but by doing so they spoil the whole game for everyone.
    so really, square enix… STOP doing that!! stop making amazing stuff and then ruin in by trowing out trailers like water from a leaking washing bin….

  40. Ive not seen the new launch trailer- I avoided it since im now playing the game 🙂 15hr in and all i'll say is im loving it so far and blown away by the gfx and music etc. Just got to the sector 5 slums.
