I like the idea of adaptive triggers for things like bows being harder to pull back but imagine if your bow is older (last of us) and you press the trigger and its its tight and hard to push and then SNAP! the bow string snaps and the button has no resistance and you need to repair the bow. I'm excited to see details like that

  16. Hahah playstion. First they had job offer where it said you can work on most powerfull console ever. Then they deleted that. Then they had a reveal planned but couple days before saw the Xbox specs and shit their pants and only showed logo. Now it's quiet because they are working their ass of to update their console because it was detroyed by the Xbox reveal

  18. If they can pull off vrr 120hz in either 1080p or 4k and have mouse and keyboard support out of the box man that would totally replace my 5 year old gaming PC. and then I will just grab a Ultrabook just for websurfing on my 2nd monitor. 🙂

  19. Even though playstation is not my main console I would really like solid info on it because I'm a gamer.Everyone should just know that next gen systems won't be cheap.You gotta pay to play I just hope they have the bugs worked out before launch

  20. People don't understand about backwards compatibilities with older generation hardware. I'll try to explain. The previous generation PlayStation console's where using different hardware infrastructure (CPU, GPU, & operating systems) now Sony is more in line with the personal computer infrastructure (x86 CPU's) starting with the PlayStation 4. We will see backwards compatibility moving forward. If you currently want to play older PlayStation game's currently you will have to subscribe to PlayStation Now (online streaming services) to play older game's from the PS3 and older console's. Or get out your older console's and play the older game's. Let's be honest. Most people loved there old favorite game's but they honestly want to play a Remake of that classic game. Going back in graphics isn't what people truly want. Let's be happy for the PS4 backwards compatible with PS5. For me I'm happy with that. Just keep your old console's and your favorite game's if you truly want to play those old classics.

  31. Drop a like if you're getting tired of Sony's reluctance to reveal much. I'm a lifelong PlayStation fan but they make me want to switch to xbox. They still won't reveal the console, they still haven't explained that "deep neural learning" or whatever, & now I hear the "dualshock 5" may read your vitals and sweat output (not kidding). That's intrusive & creepy as hell. It could benefit gamers with medical conditions like me but only if it's done right, like the information can't be stored in a cloud service.

  32. The PS5 Dev kit looks cool though. It looks better than some of the fan designs. I always thought it probably would end up looking not much different from the PS4, like a box shape. No matter what it looks like though, I can't imagine it looking so bad I wouldn't buy it. Even the xbox sx, I don't like the way it looks, I think it looks goofy but if I were an Xbox fan I'd still get it.

  34. No one actually at Sony dictated 'hardware accelerated' Ray Tracing, only that it'll support it.
    There are two forms of Ray Tracing currently implemented today. One is software based, much like how you can modify games like Zelda CEMU with ReShade, whereupon it utilizes your CPU/GPU to withstand the overbearing load of operations, but it does have a massive taxing effect on that hardwares resources. The other is hardware implementation, where there's dedicated hardware that is utilized for ray tracing in itself. nVidia's solution is Hardware based, but it's still super taxing, whereupon AMD's is unknown at this time on Navi – 21/23 RDNA2.
    AMD also confirmed in May & June that Sony is using RDNA1, and NOT "Next Generation" (or RDNA2), so there is more of a likelihood of not the PS5 not receiving a hardware-based Ray Tracing implementation. This doesn't mean much, since the tactic is literally not that spectacular within modern gaming, and it's honestly not even grown into a phase of excitement, even though it's been out for like 2 years. So this isn't really much of an issue…unless developers start utilizing it. Then I guess in a way it could be.

    Sony won’t reveal their new console on of all things an award ceremony, with panic like Phil Spencer that they screwed up doing that.

    They won’t be spilling all the tea on all their specs so early, in the hopes of distracting their fan base with the power only debate.

    They won’t have a form factor that ironically looks like a PC, which is what MS wants all their first party played on. And that in most domestic set ups, will need to be laid flat anyways….
    …I am more impressed with what Sony isn’t doing with PlayStation, than what is happening with the XShoeBox X

  45. There’s pretty much nothing we know about the ps5. But if I were a gambling man I’d bet that Microsoft is going to smash Sony in the next gen. The series x is looking phenomenal right now. In my opinion the ps5 isn’t going to really have anything to offer over the xbox beside it’s vr capabilities. (Though it should be noted that their current vr headset is the best selling vr headset on the market if I’m not mistaken) Personally I do not give a shit about console vs console vs pc anymore, and neither should anyone else. Pick whichever you prefer (or really whichever most of your friends will be playing on lol)

  46. Bro! My best friend and I watched the Ps3 reveal..we were 18 at the time..and at the end..when they revealed the price…he cut the computer off ??..I'll never forget.."six hundred dollars!?! I didn't even see anything" ?? ..$600 in 06' is like $1000 today..

  49. If the PS5 really does turn out to be only 9TF giving a large power advantage to the X then they are going to look stupid for keeping the console so secret for so long. We know already everything about the X other than the speed of the SSD and amount of RAM but Sony are really taking the piss giving away nothing and if they come out in June or July saying "TADA heres our 9TF turd" its not going to be good enough especially if its priced the same as or 50 dollars less than the X. I hope it does come in with around the same 12TF of the X but its looking like they will be coming up short this time round.
