  1. Chrome is better than Firefox because Firefox takes half of my RAM. Chrome goes all in unlike Firefox which is only brave enough to take a measly half.

  2. This is demonstrably false, been using Chrome for years on an old computer with 4 gb ram, without any trouble. Unused ram have zero use.

  3. nope. i use firefox. Not many people uses this. Since firefox quantum was released in 2018, it has been great, fast and less ram usage. Firefox used to be slower than chrome but it changed since 2 years ago.

  4. I know Edge on Chromium is still Chromium, but there is something about it that just, works. Oh wait, it's not Google, that's it! 😀

  5. Chrome was actually the main consideration when getting 32 GB. I admit I only utilize up to 17 GB at once even with everything I can do, but i'd rather have some breathing room.

  6. I use Brave and it also has high memory usage, but it doesn't sell your data and has a built-in ad-blocker along with a tip system so you can still donate money to your favorite content creators for the money they lose when you do block ads. Brave is the superior browser.

  7. I've had chrome use literally all 32GB of my ram with just 50 tabs.
Completely unusable, can't even open more than 50 to 60 tabs at once, why bother.

  8. I use firefox with auto tab discard ext. Content process limited to 4. Chrome is also installed but never use it for many years, just keep it updated to latest version. On mobile I rely on Opera for it's superior data compression feature. Choice of search engine is duckduckgo both pc & mobile.
