  1. I fricking loved the book. But in the book Khalil never shows feelings for Starr, and the hairbrush was there but Khalil never touches it that's why Kalil ooks kinda dumb in the movie..

  2. As nice as this movie is, I feel like it should have kept some parts the same. Some scenes are not the same as the one in the book.

    They forgot about Starr's friend being Asian and also adding evidence of the White friend being racisf

  14. This movie made me CRY!!!! Amazing movie! One of my favorites of all time but I try to avoid watching this movie again because it was really emotional to me. Very powerful message. I might have to watch it again though cause this movie was just great.

  16. IT IS ASHAME MOST BLACK PEOPLE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THUGS AND STUPID GANGS KILL US MORE. I ALWAYS SAW LIFE DIFFERENTLY THAN MY PEERS. NO WONDER I NEVER FIT IN. ALL BLACK PEOPLE NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE.

  20. Made whole movie and book yet ya'll still wanna hit us with that TRUMP 2020 and saying police brutality is not a problem in the U.S. I'm 12 years old and have read the book 5 times and I cry every time knowing this happens in real life and no one does anything I swear Tupac would be so proud
