  1. so tell me why when i click the download link for sprint s4 on your site and saved it i open the saved file from YOUR site and it had 5 items.. "odin3 3.10.6, odin 3, CF-Auto-Root-jfltespr-jfltespr-sphl720.tar.md5, tmax.dll zlib.dll?? and when i did with all this it didnt work, and i also tried deleting the odin and the other 2 and getting 1.8 and it still didnt work. suggestions?

  2. The XDA forums are a total jungle where there's basically too much old info to sift through. Can anyone confirm whether or not the method in this video will work with the Boost Mobile S4 variant?

  3. Does this root allow the Sprint phone to accept T-Mobile SIM and work or not really??? If not, what is the method to accomplish that task??? Cheers.

Tim – after hearing that Marshmallow will not be sent to my Sprint  Galaxy S4SPHL720 Android Version 5.01  I'm considering installing the latest CM to my phone.   I downloaded your root link – it has 5 files not 3.   is there something more I need to download to my phone than the Odim you mention?    Thanks

  8. I tried this method and it said it failed in the middle of the process. now every time i turn on my phone i get a message saying "firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in Kies and try again" What do I do now?

  22. I have a galaxy s4 from sprint with andriod 4.4.2. First of all will this root method still work? and why can't i uncheck the "F. Reset Time" under options when I open the odin file and run as administrator?

  27. Qbking77 I have try everything to root my galaxy s4 oa3 4.4.2 and for some reason it doesn't root it and I check with root checker and it say my sorry root access is not properly install in this device? ?

  30. Just finished rooting my Galaxy Tab S successfully, in about 5 minutes.

    Now I want to root my Galaxy S4 Sprint phone.

    I mistakenly put my phone in Downloading mode before installing the Samsung drivers.  Now I cannot get the driver installation to finish — it hangs before showing any progress in the progress bar.

    Could I close Odin and reboot  my computer,  while leaving my phone on, and try installing the drivers again?   I'm guessing I can't just try to unroot my (partially rooted?) phone.

    Not sure how to proceed.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND I HAVE S4 sprint model and I CAN'T SEE THE YELLOW ON ODIN THAT IT RECOGNIZES MY PHONE I FOLLOWED ALL THE STEPS AND STILL I TRIED 3diffrent USB COORDS IT DOESN'T WANNA SHOW CAN U PLZ TELL ME WHY ALL MY LAPTOP TELLS ME IS THAT IT CAN SEE MY PHONE BUT ODIN CAN'T CAN U PLZ TELL ME WHY??????

  41. Worked great. Some minor variances, like the COM color was blue, not yellow and the ODIN window look and feel was a bit different. Otherwise it was right on.

  45. Man keep doing the good stuff, I appreciate and I subscribed to your channel, I just have one issue: when I downloaded the CF-Root zip and extracted it, I found it contains 5 files instead of 3. I mention that I downloaded the zip for Exynos GT-i9500. The two additional files are called :
    1-tmax.dll
    2-zlib.dll
    So I was wondering if I can do the root with no worries from these two files.

  47. Mine was a blue icon in odin as well it said reset.  i went ahead and started and had no problems.  I believe the "yellow" one maybe an older version of odin.  works great, super user all no problems thumbs up
