  12. I watched the original and this movie in HS for a movie analysis class. Utterly fell in love. The shots, sounds, the score… Everything about these movies is perfect.

  17. It’s a shame this flopped. It’s the same way with all forms of art. Take music for example. Pop music will always outsell other styles even though it takes a fraction of the skill and understanding of music theory. I’m not saying pop music can’t be artistic, take the Beatles for example, I’m saying that not all pop is art. That’s the problem with main stream audiences. They think it’s just suppose to entertain. Art is supposed to make you think and feel. There are more emotions than joy. It’s all over produced and packaged like the pleasure replicants from this movie. Anyway I loved this movie and I hope more people give it a shot.
